News appear in two forms which include, news as a commodity or news as a state of mind. News as a commodity means news is gathered or assembled,processed and disseminated to the public through various ways. therefore, the news item is sold out to the public as a product or commodity. news as a state of mind shows how news appeals to the public. it shows or the public or audience decides which news item they should go for.
